Many people wonder how do Japanese women have such beautiful skin. Well aside from avoiding the sunlight like its the plague by using long sleeve uva arm covers, hats, parasols scarfs basically covering your body from head to toe in addition to sunblock is usually what is done. I say summer is when the ninjas come out as the women can be so covered.
The next thing is the facial masks. I find it funny that many Japanese women like to get their beauty products from Korea there are a wide arrange of facial masks in the grocery stores that you can pick up individual masks for about 1$. I also heard that Chinese women like to come to Japan for their beauty products..who knew and there are soooooooooooooooooooo many to choose from it will make your head spin
and recently different themed ones have come up like sanrio to disney characters even some popular anime/manga.
One of the products I have been hearing about is snail gel I know it sounds icky but apparently its a great moisturizer. Japanese women like to make their faces look nice and plump if your skin springs back when you poke it that’s the sign of youth.. Unlike American advertisements that just show removing wrinkles solely.
Today I am using the cure snail collagen essence Mask
One thing to note about these masks are that they don’t come in cream form like most American face masks where you slather it all over your face and after awhile you can wash or peel it off.
These masks are made from soft cotton material that’s been soaked in a range of ingredients..which I did check out on paulas choice ingredient dictionary all of which seemed fine
How to Apply
Step 1. Cleanse thoroughly and dry your face
Step 2. Gently unfold the mask and apply lightly on your face
Step 3. Leave on for 20-30 min
Step 4. Remove mask patting the extra serum into your skin
and that’s it ..apparently no rinse required and
if you want to go the extra mile you can put a silicone mask over your face mask that way its not all drippy everywhere and you get extra absorption
They also make them for you lips as well
